We took a trip to the delta and we saw different kinds of water. Once you get in the salt water there are not as many trees as there are in fresh water. But there are little trees there for the animals that live there.

The trees in fresh water are big enough for a bird called osprey to live in and if a male comes back home without a catch it can’t come inside the nest until it has a catch. Then they will fly around to show off to the other males. They eat fish and other small animals except alligators.

Brooke,
Thanks for the information about the male osprey bird. I'll be sure to look and see if any are devouring fish and other small animals the next time I'm out. I'll know this is the male osprey and soon he will fly around to show off to other males.
