We took a trip to the delta and we saw different kinds of water. Once you get in the salt water there are not as many trees as there are in fresh water. But there are little trees there for the animals that live there.

The trees in fresh water are big enough for a bird called osprey to live in and if a male comes back home without a catch it can’t come inside the nest until it has a catch. Then they will fly around to show off to the other males. They eat fish and other small animals except alligators.

The Mobile Delta is the second largest delta in the world. The water there is brackish water. One type of bird there was called Osprey. If they didn’t bring food they got kick out of the nest.

Have you ever gone to the Delta River? The Delta River is important because of the fantastic water that flows through it. The water of the Delta River is all types of water. There is fresh water and saltwater. I was very amazed at the dirt and trash that I saw in the waters at the Delta River.
